Yep. That's Brad Johnson, your new 2008 Dallas Cowboys quarterback. Does anyone remember this guy winning a Super Bowl? Because I sure didn't. That Super Bowl winning Tampa Bay squad will go down as one of the least memorable squads of all time, if anyone remembers to put them on the list in the first place.
- #Pro Football Talk is reporting that the San Diego Chargers are signing journeyman DT Ian Scott , and they will in turn be releasing rookie cornerback DeJuan Tribble. This is a sad day for Chargers fans (okay, not really) as well as Star Trek fans around the world. I first noticed Tribble on draft day when he went in the sixth round, and I immediately took an interest in the young man with the same name as the furry, uber-reproductive creatures made famous in the original Star Trek series.
Tribble also made the news back in June for a court case that earned him and Detroit's Gosder Cherilus probation time for their involvement in a fight back in their Boston College days.
And that is the trouble with Tribbles.
